The following is an example of a weekly food schedule.
Monday Lunch
- Organic Spaghetti & Meatballs
- We use either organic whole grain or whole wheat spaghetti noodles with ground turkey meatballs and homemade marinara sauce.
- Tossed Garden Salad
- Fresh daily from the produce market, a combination of green leaf, red leaf & iceberg lettuce with freshly grated carrots, diced fresh tomatoes and diced red and green pepper make our salad a colorful delight.
- 1000 Island Dressing
- A creamy mixture of mayonnaise, ketchup and pickle relish homemade the day we send it out.
- Seedless Watermelon
- Fresh seedless watermelon delivered daily to our kitchen from the produce market and sliced into just the right size for little mouths.
- Milk
- Delivered fresh that same day from the local dairy. Growth hormones and antibiotic-free.
Tuesday Lunch
- Baked Paprika Chicken
- Fresh Chicken thighs and drumsticks, just the right size for pre-schoolers appetites, baked the morning we deliver in our ovens, sprinkled with a mild seasoning of paprika and garlic.
- Steamed Corn
- Fresh corn, steamed just until tender…one of the children’s favorite vegetables.
- Steamed Brown Rice
- Lundberg Farms long grain brown rice, cooked until tender to the bite with extra whole grain goodness.
- Baked Yams
- Organic Red Garnet yams baked in our ovens then mashed with margarine for a sweet wholesome treat.
- Milk
- Delivered fresh that same day from the local dairy. Growth hormones and antibiotic-free.
Wednesday Lunch
- Mediterranean Whole Wheat Turkey Wrap

A sheet of whole wheat Lavash Bread spread with:
Fresh cream cheese mixed with fresh chopped dill, sliced fresh cucumbers and freshly roasted and carved turkey which has been marinated in a mildly exotic Mediterranean marinade. This is rolled into a spiral and sliced in half, providing a hand held delight.
- Mixed Vegetables
- Fresh mixed vegetables, steamed until just tender.
- Fresh Peaches
- Peaches delivered that morning from the produce market at the peak of perfection.
- Milk
- Delivered fresh that same day from the local dairy. Growth hormones and antibiotic-free.
Thursday Lunch
- Organic Red Bean and Rice
- Organic Red Beans cooked the old fashioned way, soaked and slowly simmered with a sauce of tomatoes, a tiny bit of chili and garlic, fashioned into a thick stew that is served over long grain rice, the New Orleans way. This is a vegetarian dish that is sure to please.
- Spinach Salad
- Fresh baby spinach and iceberg lettuce mixed into a colorful array of greens.
- Creamy Vinaigrette Dressing
- An intriguing blend of canola oil, white vinegar and mayonnaise with just the right touch of herbs and spices to tingle the palate.
- Wholegrain Cornbread
- Cornbread made from scratch, made with whole wheat and enriched flour, fresh eggs and milk, baked into a tender treat.
- Milk
- Delivered fresh that same day from the local dairy. Growth hormones and antibiotic-free.
Friday Lunch
- Fresh Minestrone Soup
- This is a vegetarian version of minestrone, using homemade vegetable stock, tomatoes, celery and onion with organic red beans and garbanzo beans with pasta noodles.
- Roast Turkey Sandwich
- Fresh roasted whole turkeys, carved into slices just right for sandwiches served with mayonnaise and whole wheat bread. This is one of the children’s favorites.
- Vegetable Sticks
- Fresh baby carrots and celery sticks for a crunchy treat to go with the sandwiches.
- Fresh Strawberries
- Fresh Strawberries, delivered that day from the produce market and taste tested for sweetness.
- Milk
- Delivered fresh that same day from the local dairy. Growth hormones and antibiotic-free.
